The Gruffalo

It sounds imaginary, and at one point even in it’s own story, it was! But eventually, as the mouse who dreamed it up walked through the forrest, he came face to face with one: a Gruffalo! BBC One will be premiering a CG animated TV special called The Gruffalo, later this year during the winter holidays. Based on Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s book of the same name, The Gruffalo special will be produced by Magic Light Pictures and animated at Studio Soi. So far, the voice cast includes: Robbie Coltrane, Helena Bonham Carter, Rob Brydon, James Corden, John Hurt and Tom Wilkinson.
