Spin Master Entertainment and Titmouse join forces on The Special Offers

Spin Master Entertainment, a division of Spin Master Ltd., and animation studio Titmouse are partnering to co-develop and produce a new animated musical series called The Special Offers. Tagging on to the music craze of High School Musical and Glee, the toon follows four misfit kids who form a band. As if it wasn’t hard enough just being a teenager, now they have to deal with learning and playing instruments, maintaining gigs, competing with DJs, etc. Each episode will feature an original song, all of which will be compiled as a soundtrack album at the end of the season. Spin Master will control the merchandising and toy making for the brand, and Titmouse Entertainment will focus on creating the animated musical series.

The series was created by Keith Fay and features the music of Fay and Gina Schock, best known as the drummer for the Go Go’s. Fay is no slouch for toons or music; he also worked on the first two seasons of Adult Swim’s Metalocalypse and later served as creative producer for the parts of the Guitar Hero video game franchise.
