The Last Airbender reveals a new trailer during the Super Bowl
The Super Bowl was awesome! Saints made the miracle climb to Super Bowl champs, besting the Colts in a fantastic game, giving the city of New Orleans a great reason to celebrate. And, hey, along the way, we pick up a sneak peek at the upcoming Avatar film, The Last Airbender! Bonus! M. Night Shyamalan’s epic about the anime-styled, Nickelodeon super star is ready for the big screen and looks amazing. Aang shines it what truly looks to be an amazing battle by the four elemental nations; Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. The flick hits theaters July 2nd, beginning the story on a grand scale. hm, maybe you're right. i guess it does take away the light-heartedness of the toon. …at least, based on the trailer images. i was just really impressed with how real and non-goofy it looked. as if they took it seriously, instead of just trying to cash in on a succesful franchise.

i dunno, maybe it's all too early to make any kinda predictions on the film. from the little they've shown, i'm hooked — but i guess i coudl have been duped, and the thing turns out to be terrible hahah. we'll see!

I dunno about this… This movie just looks to dark and… Shyamalan-ish for me. :/ As I've said, I was never a big fan of the cartoon, but this movie just seems way off.
