When Activision and Disney’s Marvel get together, good things happen. This time around, it’s the upcoming Spider-Man game, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. In this game, due out September 7th, players can work through four different dimensions of the Spider-Man mythos; the Marvel world (home to the Amazing Spider-Man), Noir (a 1930s version of Spider-Man), Spider-Man 2099 (the Spider-Man of a possible future), and Ultimate Spider-Man (where Spidey is currently bonded with the Venom symbiote). The mastermind behind most of Marvel’s creations, Stan Lee, recently sat down to pass a few words on the upcoming Nintendo DS, PC, Nintendo Wii, , and Xbox 360 game. Alex Irvine has done what many would deem impossible: he’s chronicled the official history of the war for Cybertron in his latest book : Exodus. The novel was published by Del Rey Books and developed by Hasbro in an effort to chart the creation of the two sides: the Autobots the Decepticons, as well as the civil war that brewed between them. Beyond this ingenious style of play, the classic elements of Bakugan are in place; collect up to 30 creatures, intense battle action, and the ability to improve your rank by defeating opponents. Preview the upcoming Bakugan game

Bakugan is one of the hottest toy / anime combos on the market right now, and this year’s in San Diego was sure to show it off. Those lucky enough to get some time with the Activision and Now Production game at the show were quite pleased with how it was coming along. The game take place in 3D playing fields. At the start of a battle, players place an Arena card, which each have their own effects, like negating bonuses from your opponent’s , or adding points to yours. Then players take turns throwing Bakugan Balls. The game will be available this winter for Nintendo DS, , Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Wii, where you actually get to flick the remote to simulate real gameplay. Very straight forward, but very addictive. Who’s getting it?

Later this fall, Bakugan fans can go nuts with their video game system of choice as Activision and Now Production bring home Bakugan: Battle Brawlers. The console version will hit the Nintendo Wii, , Xbox 360, and PlayStation 2, while Nintendo DS fans will get a unique version of the game for themselves. Bakugan video game coming to your console of choice

Activision has announced plans to release a Bakugan video game on pretty much every popular home console: Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, PS3, and PS2 (sorry PSP!). The NOW Production-developed game will be released this fall, and will feature “intense battles, the ability to create your own Brawler, cartoon quality graphics and multiplayer combat.” Check out the teaser after the break!

Chaotic: the video gameActivision now has plans to release a video game version of the trading card game Chaotic.  Those of you who have been turned off by how expensive collecting the cards can get now have a cheaper and more fun alternative that you can play on your Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, or PS3 later this year!  The game promises “vibrant, fully-realized 3D environments” and “various characters from the best-selling trading card game and hit animated series.”   Nice!
