If there’s one thing that Cookie Jar Entertainment is good at, it’s showcasing its huge collection of top-notch animated hits. This year, the company is strutting large with some impressive titles under it’s belt. included in the mix are CBC’s Doodlebops Rockin’ Road Show, season five of Caillou, Magi-Nation, the 15th season of Arthur, and the fourth season of Johnny Test. But that’s not all, as the Cookie-named company will also stock up on it’s classic older toons, like the CG Sherlock Holmes, Super Mario World, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

The video player on BBC’s website, formally known as the iPlayer, has had a tremendous amount of success overseas. This is particularly true when you factor in the influence of the CBBC, the children’s portion of the network, home to many of the great animated series. With the CBBC iPlayer, fans can catch all of their favorite episodes in full, directly on the website, for about a week after they appear on TV. A number of shows live on for a few months, allowing fans to “catch up” on what they’ve missed. Amongst these shows are: Bears Behaving Badly, Skunk Fu, Raven, Kerching!, Dennis the Menace -- Dennis and Gnasher, Arthur, and many other hit shows. Are you going to a Halloween party as Buddy from Dinosaur Train? Or Super Why? Maybe Arthur? PBS Kids wants to make sure everyone gets into the Halloween “spirit” as they focus content on the spooky day. Tomorrow, October 30th, PBS Kids and PBS Kids Go! will air ghostly themed episodes of their cartoons, setting up for the big moment the following day, Saturday, Halloween!

Luc Besson’s trilogy is now coming to life. The mixed live-action and CG animated movies started with Arthur and the Invisibles, and will feature a second movie this year, Arthur and the Revenge of the Maltazard, in theaters on December 4th. The Scanbox Entertainment films will then finish the trilogy next year with Arthur and the War of the Two Worlds. Check out the trailer for “Revenge of the Maltazard” below the break!

It might seem a little too early (or too late?) to be talking about Christmas stuff, but it’s still fun!! Aardman Features teams once again with Sony Pictures Imageworks to produce a CG animated project called Arthur Christmas. The movie asks the question I’ve wondered my whole life: How does Santa deliver all his presents in one night. Let’s hope we get some answers from the big man!

To help celebrate Earth Week, PBS Kids Go! will be showing five brand new episodes of Arthur all week long on TV. The whole event is part of PBS Kids Share the Earth Day Celebration. The new Arthur episodes run every day this week, and provide information on how to take care of our planet. We only get one!

The BBC iPlayer is now available for shows on the CBBC.  …so what does all of that mean?  Other than a whole giant combination of a weird letter jumble? It means you can now go to the official CBBC website and watch a selection of shows up to a week after they appear on TV, and other shows available for 3 months as “series catch-ups” — this includes; Skunk Fu, Raven, Kerching!, Dennis the Menace, Arthur, or any of their hit shows! Arthur, one of the longest running animated series on TV, will turn 12 this week with the launch of its twelfth season.  The show, which airs on PBS Kids Go! has been around for over a decade, but is still going strong.  This week will feature five new episodes of Arthur, focusing on getting involved in the local community.  Special guest stars lending their voices to the show include Lance Armstrong and Joan Rivers.
