Boomerang hosts Smurfs marathon for Presidents day
The Boomerang Network knows how to truly celebrate a holiday! That’s why, on Monday, February 15th, otherwise known as President’s Day, the sister-channel to the Cartoon Network will be airing a 12 hour Smurfs marathon, from 8am to 8pm. The mushroom-living little blue creatures will spend the entire day fouling Gargamel’s plans, avoiding Azrael, and singing happily, as they Smurf the day along. Led by the wise and magical Papa Smurf, the rest of the crew includes Brainy, Vanity, Hefty, Clumsy, Smurfette (the only female Smurf), and dozens of other adorable characters. Be sure to TOON in! Johnny Bravo St. Valentine’s Day Marathon on Valentine’s Day
With Valentine’s Day just a few days away, “love is in the air” couldn’t ring truer! Boomerang, Cartoon Network’s sister channel, is proving this by hosting Johnny Bravo St. Valentine’s Day Marathon on Valentine’s Day, just as they did last year. The marathon will run on Sunday, February 14th, from 12pm through 8:30pm. Finishing off the 8 and a half hours of Johnny, there will be a 30 minute special called “Its Valentine Day, Johnny Bravo at 8p, featuring Molly Shannon, Joe McIntyre, Maureen McCormick, and Donny Osmond as guest stars. Boomerang presents The Flintstones Bedrock ‘N’ Roll
The Flintstones had an incredibly long reign on the air. In fact, other than the Simpsons, the Flintstones is the longest running cartoon of all time. During their span, the series included a number of musical moments, take-offs, and guest stars, helping to cement its place in the … bedrock… of animation history. Boomerang, being the Cartoon Network affiliated channel that brings us the Flintstones on a regular basis, has grouped some of the best musical moments together to create Bedrock ‘N’ Roll; a marathon spanning hours. Courage the Cowardly Dog Halloween marathon
Boomerang, the younger brother of Cartoon Network, has recently started airing Courage the Cowardly Dog on its Monday through Saturday nightly programming block. To help kick off the debut, and to hype up for Halloween, they’ll be showing a four hour marathon tonight, starting at 7pm. Hopefully this doesn’t conflict with your trick’or’treating times. But if so, just grab the DVR or VCR and set it to record!
Scooby-Doo marathon
And speaking of Scooby… Jinkies! It’s Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Fred and Daphne. Roll out the red carpet for Scooby and the gang! Its been 40 years since their first debut on September 13th, 1969. To acknowledge this day, Cartoon Network’s Boomerang will be airing Scooby Doo episodes today and tomorrow, September 5th and 6th, starting at 2pm. Pop yourself a bag of popcorn or grab a box of Scooby Snacks and enjoy the show! Also look forward to viewing the first episode of Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins on September 22nd 2009. We just can’t get enough of those meddling kids!

Samurai Jack to Boomerang
Cartoon Network’s original animated series, Samurai Jack, is about to slice his way over to Boomerang. Starting Monday, August 3rd at 11pm, The Cartoon Network sister network will begin airing all 52 episodes of the toon on a daily basis, 7 days a week. Now, you get a chance to watch from the beginning as Jack tries to stop the evil, shape-shifting Aku, and find a way back to his own time so he can destroy the beast for good.
Teen Titans for Memorial Day
What better way is there to celebrate Memorial Day than with an all-day cartoon marathon? Cartoon Network’s Boomerang has the perfect plan picked out, with a 12-hour long string of Teen Titans episodes, from 12 noon, to 12 midnight, May 25th. The original Cartoon Network animated series based on the DC Comics books is about a group of young heroes, like Robin, Cyborg, and Raven, fighting crime together.
Boomerang goes ape!

In honor of the foolishness associated with today, the famed April Fool’s Day, Boomerang is featuring an all day special with all sorts of monkey-related hijinx! The special, called Ape-Reel Fool’s Day, is running through episodes of The Magilla Gorilla Show, The Powerpuff Girls featuring Mojo Jojo, ape-themed episodes of The Flintstones, Scooby Doo and Top Cat.
