Nicktoons and Marvel bring Iron Man: Armored Adventures back for season two
Iron Man is having a pretty good run right now. Marvel’s ShellHead super hero is ruling box offices with Iron Man 2, his smash hit sequel to 2008′s Iron Man. There are new video games based on the movie with Tony Stark’s likeness. He’ll make numerous appearances in Cartoon Network’s Marvel Super Hero Squad. And last, but not least, his very own Mr. Potato Head character. But wait, there’s more! Nicktoons is working with Marvel Animation, Method Animation, and DQ Entertainment to crank out a second season of Iron Man: Armored Adventures with 26 new episodes. Superstuffed Nicksgiving Weekend
Starting Wednesday, November 25th, Nickelodeon is cranking out some Thanksgiving holiday cheer in the form of Superstuffed Nicksgiving Weekend. Marathons, premieres, specials – the whole bit. Included in the feast will be SpongeBob SquarePants: The Movie, episodes of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Fanboy & Chum Chum, and Avatar: the Last Airbender, to name a few, running all the way through to Sunday evening. Wolverine and the X-Men gets a second season
Not only is Wolverine popular, but so are the X-Men! So what is the logical step for Nicktoons to make? Signing up the hit series Wolverine and the X-Men to a second season! New episodes from season one will kick off Friday May 22nd at 8pm following Iron Man: Armored Adventures. New episodes from the second season should start up later this year, during the fall.

Nicktoons Network sets a ratings record for the launch of their new animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures. Iron Man, which debuted on Friday, April 24th, had back-to-back episodes from 7-8pm. The hour-long marathon boosted ratings for the entire day on the channel, which is pretty good for just one guy! …one… IRON guy!

Nicktoons Network is ready to bring Iron Man: Armored Adventures to the air in 2009. The story follows a 17 year old Tony Stark who nearly loses his life and his father, Howard Stark, in a fatal plane crash.
