I like Pokemon. I would go so far as to say, over the years, I’ve really loved the franchise! Toons, cards, toys, games, etc. It’s awesome. But… then, I heard of Lisa Courtney through a little publication called Guinness World Records 2010. According to the book, Lisa Courtney has collected more than 13,000 Pokemon items. Thur. Teen. Thousand. That’s statues and figures and pens and shirts and backpacks and cups and anything else you could Poke-possibly Poke-think of. Through the past decade of collecting, the 21 year old girl has dedicated entire rooms of her house, including her mother’s room! “I’ve even named the room where my main collection resides ‘Pokémon Centre Europe!’” she said. Nintendo starts Pokemon Black and White with new Pokemon

We’re creeping closer and closer to the launch of Nintendo’s Pokemon Black & White, the latest game in the Pocket Monster franchise. American and European regions can get their hands on the game in the Spring, but Japanese gamers have just about 6 weeks to wait, with a September 18th launch over there. Recently, the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi game’s director, Junichi Masuda, added more fuel to the Pokefire by stating Pokemon Black and Pokemon White will initially only contain brand new Pokémon, giving the gamer an entirely new experience — similar to when Pokemon Green and Pokemon Red were released. With over 30 new Pokemon officially announced, hyping up this new 5th generation, that means there will still be plenty to choose from… until later in the game, when you can go back to the familiar cast, like ! Pokemon Black and White hits Japan September 18th

The Black and White phenomenon is getting closer! Nintendo is quickly prepping the Pokemon game we are all anxiously awaiting, Pokémon Black & White, ready to reveal a whole new world of 5th generation Pocket Monsters to us! Initially teased as just mere silhouettes, the upcoming Nintendo DS (not Nintendo 3DS) game now has an official release date — at least for Japan. Pokemon Black and White will hit Japanese retail shelves on September 18th, with a hopeful release date of next spring for fans in other regions. At this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, many a big time game was shown, including a new Pokemon title, Pokepark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure. However, not much of anything was revealed about what will surely be the hottest upcoming Nintendo DS game, Pokemon: Black and White. The game, developed by Nintendo and Game Freak, will feature fifth generation Pokemon characters, formerly never before seen, such as Zorua and Zoroark. Nintendo Debuts PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure at E3 2010

So far, the only disappointment at Nintendo’s E3 2010 presentation has been a lack of Pokemon Black and White footage. So far, anyway. However, that is not to say that Nintendo has left it’s new Nintendo 3DS and coverage completely barren of Pokefun! Making it’s official debut is PokePark Wii: ’s Adventure. The title is an adventure game starring , who, amongst other things, makes friends with other Pokemon by competing in athletic events. This opens the world up to dozens of mini-games, which are beautiful to watch! There’s Bulbasaur’s Daring Dash, Venusaur’s Vine Swing, and Gyrados’ Aqua Dash, amongst others. (more… )
