Special Sonic Classic Collection to the Nintendo DS
If you’re going to ask my personal opinion, I think that the best Sonic games are the classic 2D games – that means two things; (1) I’m incredibly psyched about the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and (2) I am absolutely in love with the upcoming special Sonic Classic Collection for the Nintendo DS. The collection includes Sega’s first three Sonic games and Sonic & Knuckles, as well as a tin, art cards, and a Sonic figurine. Unfortunately (for me) as of right now, the collection will only be available in Spain and Australia, but Sega has not ruled out a wider distribution. (more… )

They recently got a chance to review the game, which is available in stores now. Check out a new trailer after the break, and a bit of what they had to say:
The game will wow with its crisp cinemas, slick interface, online functionality and pretty in-game graphics, but when you sit down to play it, you will quickly discover a slow, clunky, boring affair ruined by stupid design choices.
