It’s time to get algebraic! …or… something! That is, Cartoon Network is about to debut another original animated series called Adventure Time with Finn & Jake. Having just launched Hero: 108, then to have Generator Rex and Sym-Bionic Titan close behind, the CN is really giving us toon fans a glorious treat! The series kicks off on Monday, April 5th, at 8pm, courtesy of Pendleton Ward and Frederator Studios. Be on the lookout for an ecclectic collection of special guest voices all season long, including Henry Rollins, Erik Estrada, George Takei (of Heroes fame), Lou Ferrigno (of Hulk fame), and Mark Hamill (of Star Wars and Batman: The Animated Series fame). LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers

We’ve seen them invade the Clone Wars universe, R2-D2, the world of Bionicle, even Ben: 10! Now, as of last Tuesday, February 23rd, the world of LEGO has spawned an all-new adventure with LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers. This feature length animated tale is now available on both DVD and Digital Download. Clutch Powers, the best builder and explorer in the LEGO universe, heads off on his most dangerous mission yet. Viewers can join Clutch and his team of LEGO experts as their adventure leads them from LEGO City to the Space Police prison planet to the medieval world of Ashlar where they must help the rightful heir to the King’s throne find the courage to regain the kingdom from the evil wizard Mallock the Malign. Lucky fans tuning into Star Wars: The Clone Wars last night on Cartoon Network were treated to a special sneak peek of one of their upcoming shows; Generator Rex. Along with Sym-Bionic Titan, Generator Rex will debut in a few weeks; a product of Man of Action, the folks behind the popular Ben 10 franchise. We’ve been waiting for this one for a while, so we are beyond pumped to finally check it out. Infected by microscopic molecular-altering nanites, 15-year-old Rex has the ability to grow incredible machines out of his body. Recruited by an organization called Providence, Rex travels the world investigating a host of biological mutations that were created by the same nanites that give Rex his powers. Just when you thought LEGO was all out of ideas to merge with the Star Wars universe, they throw you a curve ball! er… laser blast! LucasArts has now announced that the LEGO Star Wars franchise is teaming up with Cartoon Network’s hit animated series, The Clone Wars, for the third installment of the video game series. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, will be a new title based on the CG animated series, developed by Traveller’s Tales. The game will include all characters from both seasons of the show, as well as additional fan-favorites from the movies. Traveller’s Tales also mentioned a new battle mode and a level editor which allows players to create bases and battlefields. Look for the game to hit stores this fall, and available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, Wii, and PSP. (more… )

The reviews for the Ben 10 LEGO line of toys is rages on, with everyone jumping at the chance to own their Alien Force toys. Helping move the hype train down the tracks, Lego and Cartoon Network have teamed to promote the joint venture with sweet stop-animation commercials, showcasing the figures in action (get it? Figures in action, action figures…). We’ve already revealed Chromastone in animated LEGO form, only to later showcase Humungousaur’s debut. Now, it’s Spidermonkey’s turn to jump in on the game! First look at the new LEGO Ben 10 toy Chromastone

We’ve been waiting quite some time to get our eyes on the new Ben 10 LEGO toys and figures, and it looks like that long-wait is finally paying off. Slowly but surely, Cartoon Network is revealing glimpses of the Ben 10 Alien Force characters, animated in LEGO form. The look resembles the Batman and Star Wars LEGO animations and video games, but its as if Ben took over Legoland on his last visit, and made sure the new toys were in his vision. Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side

The farce is strong in this one! Fans of either Star Wars, Family Guy, or both have something bright (dark?) to look forward to, as the two pair together in the all new Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side. The Empire Strokes Back-inspired remake of the Star Wars film has recently received a brand new trailer which we’ll be more than happy to share with you! The full special will be available on December 22nd, from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, with special mention of Lucasfilm, on iTunes, DVD, and Blu-ray, all on the same day.
