Warner Premiere’s Superman/Shazam! The Return of Black Adam to DVD
On November 9th, 2010, Warner Home Video will distribute the DC Showcase Original Shorts Collection, a package that includes four animated adventures from the likes of Green Arrow, The Spectre, and Jonah Hex. Serving as the star feature in the collection is the fourth title: Superman/Shazam! The Return of Black Adam. Clark Kent’s latest interview subject is Billy Batson, a feisty kid with a lot of heart – and also one selected by an ancient wizard as the World’s Mightiest Mortal. By invoking the name of the wizard, “Shazam!” Billy’s powers erupt like lightning, turning him into the Superman-like Captain Marvel. Unfortunately, Black Adam is also in that league, out to destroy Marvel, Superman, and anyone else that gets in his way. Check out the voice cast and full press release (more… )
