Total Drama goes Totally London
Turner CN Enterprises has some big plans for Fresh TV’s Total Drama series over seas in London. The Cartoon Network (“CN”, indeed) supporting company is in the process of developing a new products for the entire Total Drama franchise, which includes Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, and the not-yet-appropriately-named season 4 of Total Drama. As of now, the scope of the deals include publishing rights, DVD sales, and so on, but the nothing of further concepts (toys? video games?) is likely right around the corner. (more… )
Duncan wins Total Drama Action
Duncan vs. Beth. That’s what it all came down to. Just two contestants were left in the nail-biting conclusion of Cartoon Network’s latest series in the Total Drama franchise, Total Drama Action. Only one of them could win, and it would require a majority of the votes. Chris was going to draw it out as long as possible, and I don’t see why I should be any different. But… then I realized I already gave it all away in the title. And the image. And Duncan won. …D’oh! And I just gave it away again. OK, fine, so I don’t have the suspense that Chris can offer. Total Drama Action Season Finale airs tonight
Maybe you’ve seen a season finale before, or even a bunch of them, but have you ever seen one that claims to be the “Best Season Finale EVER!” ?? Well, tonight is your chance, as Cartoon Network airs the season finale to Total Drama Action, filled with secret alliances, backstabbing, and an ending bigger than Chris! More Total Drama, Total Drama The Musical
First, there was Total Drama Island. Then, there was Total Drama Action. For those of you who simply love the drama, and save none for their respective mamas, then get ready to be excited! Cake Entertainment has signed on with Fresh TV to produce a third season of the animated series, Total Drama The Musical. The series has already been picked up by Cartoon Network in the US, which has been the home for the previous two Total Drama toons. According to show producers, 13 old characters will return to the series, along with 2 new characters, all fighting to stay out of the newly dubbed Drop of Shame. Any newbies to the series gonna give it a whirl this time around?
Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins makes Cartoon Network history
On Sunday, September 13th, Cartoon Network made history. …with a “Zoinks”. When the channel debuted the live action and CG animated movie, Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins, it opened up the most-watched telecast in the entire history of the network. That means it attracted more viewers than any episode of the Powerpuff Girls, more than any Ben 10 or Ben 10: Alien Force segment, even more than any Total Drama Action or Total Drama Island show. The “Doo” stands alone at the top of the ratings heap. Were you one of those watching to help set the record?
Cartoon Network’s Get Animated tour marches on
This past week, Time Warner Cable and Cartoon Network partnered up to bring the Get Animated tour to Water Works Family Aquatic Center. The 40-city tour is now in its fifth year, promoting healthy living, exercise, and activity with some of the most popular characters in the world of cartoons – Ben 10: Alien Force, Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, The Secret Saturdays, and Total Drama Action. Soccer challenges, bike racing, and wall climbing are just some of the events through out the tour, which continues through September 9th.
Total Drama Action rules the ratings
Cartoon Network’s June 11th premiere of Total Drama Action had the highest TV ratings of the day out of individuals age 6-14. The spin off of last year’s Total Drama Island was seen by millions of fans during the Har Har Tharsday block, putting the evening into Cartoon Network history. Were you part of the debut? Cake Entertainment and Fresh TV’s Total Drama franchise (Total Drama Island, Total Drama Action, etc) has just signed on with Cartoon Network Enterprises setting up a number of upcoming products. This includes DVDs, games, and other fun items you can place on your shelves. Total Drama Island first started on Cartoon Network’s Har Har Tharsdays block in June 2008, and the new series, Total Drama Action, will start up later this year.
