With Valentine’s Day just a few days away, “love is in the air” couldn’t ring truer! Boomerang, Cartoon Network’s sister channel, is proving this by hosting Johnny Bravo St. Valentine’s Day Marathon on Valentine’s Day, just as they did last year. The marathon will run on Sunday, February 14th, from 12pm through 8:30pm. Finishing off the 8 and a half hours of Johnny, there will be a 30 minute special called “Its Valentine Day, Johnny Bravo at 8p, featuring Molly Shannon, Joe McIntyre, Maureen McCormick, and Donny Osmond as guest stars. For all you love birds out there, be sure to TOON into ABC tonight as the network airs the Peanuts special A Charlie Brown Valentine. Just like the classic Christmas special, the Halloween themed Great Pumpkin special, and the turkey-themed Thanksgiving special, the Valentine’s Day episode is taken directly from Charles M. Schulz’s famous comic strip, and will be on tonight, February 10th, at 8pm on ABC. Charlie Brown finally works up the courage to call the little red-haired girl to ask her to the Valentine’s Day dance. Just in time for Valentine’s day, Walt Disney Studios has recently released a brand new addition to an old-time classic; Winnie the Pooh: A Valentine For You. This special edition DVD features three Winnie the Pooh stories, including My Hero – a new-to-DVD adventure, and Catch the Love Bug – a fun bonus feature. As a bonus, the special edition also includes Pooh-themed Valentines cards that can be shared with your friends and loved ones. (more… )

Boomerang will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with one of their most lovable stars: Johnny Bravo.  The cartoon character’s funniest dating disasters  will be stringed together in a 7 hour marathon today (February 14th — Valentine’s Day!!) starting at 2pm.  The last episode in the marathon is the special, It’s Valentine’s Day, Johnny Bravo at 8p.

Christmas and New Year’s may have just passed, but PBS Kids is already set to celebrate Valentine’s Day!  They’ll be airing a new episode of WordWorld, a special hour of Clifford The Big Red Dog, and holiday themed episodes of other PBS Kids shows on Friday, February 13th.

As part of Toon Disney’s relaunch into Disney XD, the network is promising some really cool things for all of us fans, new and old.  For starters, you will be able to check out all-new episodes of the animated series Phineas and Ferb, as soon as the official switch over date, which is this coming Valentine’s Day.  Not a bad Valentine to get!
