Marblemedia brings Rockin’ the Boat to Teletoon
The Bermuda Triangle has got to be a pretty scary place. I mean, no one really understands what’s going on down there; maybe there’s monsters or aliens or time travel or whatever. But, I guess it wouldn’t be so bad if you got there and happened to be stuck with all your friends and others your age. Then again, it sounds better still if you’re all on this giant luxury cruise ship, with all the fun and amenities of a super floating hotel. Marblemedia plans to take us on this kind of adventure with their upcoming toon called Rockin’ the Boat. The animated comedy, set to air on Teletoon, with soap-opera style and character interaction that resembles Total Drama. (more… )

Mattel and Classic Media’s She-Ra reaches 25th anniversary
Princess Adora might not be overly anxious to dish out her age every birthday, but Mattel and Classic Media couldn’t be more proud that She-Ra – their creation and Adora’s alter ego – is celebrating her 25th anniversary this week. For the honor of Grayskull! The classic 80s toon, recently re-released on YouTube, produced a legion of fans, action figures, and products a few decades back, rising to fame as the twin sister of Prince Adam, other wise known as He-Man. Together, the two lead the Masters of the Universe franchise from Saturday mornings to digital downloads on iTunes, with more in store for the future. Teletoon readies Total Drama World Tour, Scooby Doo, Stoked and more for Extra Awesome Thursday
Thursday, September 9th. That’s all you Teletoon fans have to keep track of. 9/9/10. It’s that Thursday, from 6pm – 9pm, that Teletoon will feature Extra Awesome Thursday; a three-hour programming block featuring all kinds of cartoon goodness. We’re talking about Total Drama World Tour, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Johnny Test, Jimmy Two-Shoes, Spliced, Stoked, and maybe a few other surprises. Formerly known as “Really, Really, Really Awesome”, the Extra Awesome Thursday evening party is just what Teletoon fans need to get the fall rocking. Cartoon Network’s Action Friday features Ben 10, Generator Rex, and The Clone Wars
Action fans, prepare for liftoff. Cartoon Network’s Friday night lineup is so jam-packed with cartoon goodness, it’s difficult to believe it fits in a single evening. It all starts off with Johnny Test at 6pm, in Johnny Grow Your Own Monster. At 6:30, we get Adventure Time repeats City of Thieves and Witch’s Garden, immediately followed by the second part of Total Drama Island’s Not So Happy Campers and Batman: Brave and the Bold’s Mystery in Space. Then? It’s prime time! The main event starts at 8pm with Ben 10 Ultimate Alien’s Fused and Generator Rex’s Breach at 8:30pm. The 9-10pm hour leading up to Adult Swim is filled with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, showcasing Hostage Crisis and Holocron Heist. I’m out of breath just writing this up!! (more… )

Cartoon Network keeps the drama with Total Drama’s Fart Blaster
Cartoon Network has had a hit on their hands for the past few years with the Total Drama franchise. Between Total Drama Action, Total Drama Island, and now Total Drama World Tour, it seems like the series is capable of anything. Even… a fart app! Honest, an app! About farts! The Total Drama Fart Blaster app asks you to blast your friends with “Flatulence Du Internacional”, a fancy shmancy way of asking you to hit’em with gas from around the globe. Total Drama World Tour hits Cartoon Network tonight!
After what feels like years of waiting, we’re finally here, on the day Cartoon Network launches the third season in the Total Drama franchise; Total Drama World Tour. We’ve taken three looks into the characters over the past few weeks, all to get a better idea of the show, formerly known as Total Drama The Musical. And, really, all we can say now is that we can’t wait for the show to begin, even more! The event kicks off tonight at 9pm on Cartoon Network, and anyone who calls themselves a Total Drama fan will be there watching. This coming Monday, the Total Drama franchise welcomes a whole new season to their lineup: Total Drama World Tour. The Cartoon Network series will be chock-full of all new contestants, ready to play, scheme, cheat, love, and earn their way through the various challenges and points and votes. It’s the same madness you’ve come to enjoy in the past seasons, only this time, they’re going global! Visiting various checkpoints around the world.
